Wednesday morning’s snowflakes were a lovely contrast to the beautiful forest and flower-filled backdrop of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the White Theatre. This highly popular Shakespearean comedy received an updated twist via the costumes and hairstyles, while retaining all the good humor & fun pranks of the original. The Q&A afterwards was informative, and gave the kids a better insight into how the actors prepare for their roles, how they make the iambic pentameter sound modern and natural, and how the costumers dress the actors. The kids and parents who attended gave the performance rave reviews, and we look forward to visiting the White Theatre for future shows!
